📢 Important Update for Driver’s Licence Renewals
With the recent changes requiring your Personal Health Number (PHN) to be added to your driver’s licence when renewing, please be aware that you must provide your Alberta Health Care Card at the time of your renewal.
If you do not have your physical Alberta Health Care Card, you can access your digital health card through the MyHealth Alberta app.
⚠️ Please note: We are unable to accept photos or screenshots of your PHN. You must present either your physical Alberta Health Care Card or the digital version through the MyHealth Alberta app.
To help make your visit as smooth as possible:
* If you have a MyAlberta Digital ID (MADI) account, we recommend ensuring you have completed the necessary steps to access your digital health card before visiting our office.
* Setting up your digital PHN may take some time, so completing this in advance can help avoid delays during your visit.
