Hello friends,
After many wonderful years serving the Wellington community, we have some meaningful news to share with you.
You may have heard that, after 18 years (and one day) of proudly serving the Wellington community, the Clark family has passed the torch to Blueprint Repair & Maintenance.
This was not a decision we made lightly, however, we have reached a point in our lives where we recognize the importance of finding a better balance between work and family. Nearly two decades ago, we built this shop while young, excited, and admittedly a little nervous, with two young daughters at home and very little money. We still remember meeting with Amy’s dad, Cline, and sharing our dream of opening our own shop. He was excited for us and instantly and without any hesitation, agreed to help us secure loans to make it happen. His faith in us and his willingness to take such a risk on our behalf made this journey possible. We think he would be very proud.
Over the past several years, we have become increasingly aware that the shop needed to evolve and grow to meet the demands of our customers. Clark's has been a part of this community and a part of our family for a long time. When considering the future of the business what mattered most to us was finding the right buyers to carry it forward- people who would continue the values we worked so hard to build: honest work and genuine care for every customer. We are confident that this transition is the best case scenario for the shop, our team, and our customers.
Before anything else, to every person who has trusted us with their vehicle over the years: thank you. It has been a true privilege to serve you. Wellington is a special community. You embraced us from the very start and we are proud of the small role Clark's has played in it.
The shop is open and the team you know and trust is still here. We hope you will give Blueprint the same trust and warmth you always gave us.
What you can expect from Clark’s under new ownership:
The same team you know and trust - Jason, Brandon, Jake and Nick remain part of the team and continue doing what they do best.
The same quality service, no surprises - business as usual from day one. Your vehicle is in the same capable hands it always has been, with honest diagnostics, careful mechanical work and recommendations tailored to your goals. Your tires are safe in storage waiting for the winter changeover and any appointments you have booked with us are still there.
Better ways to stay connected - the shop will be introducing online booking and service updates by email so you are always in the loop on your vehicle.
The same name on the door and a shop that keeps growing - Clark’s is still Clark’s. But under new ownership means new investment in equipment, infrastructure and small details that make a great experience even better, without losing what made Clark’s special from day 1.
