Behind every hail estimate is a lot more work than most people realize.

When a hail-damaged vehicle arrives at our shop, we don't just glance it over and write an estimate.

Every single dent matters.

Our technicians carefully inspect the entire vehicle, using specialized lighting to find even the smallest dents that can be nearly impossible to see in normal conditions. Each dent is individually marked so nothing is missed. From there, we take precise photos and document the damage before submitting everything to MPI as part of the estimating process.

Recognizing the warning signs of an overheating engine

Extreme summer temperatures can put extra strain on your vehicle’s cooling system. If something starts to go wrong, catching it early can prevent major damage.

Watch for signs like the temperature gauge rising above normal, steam coming from under the hood, warning lights on your dash, or unusual smells while driving.

If your engine begins to overheat, pull over safely, turn the engine off, and let it cool before checking anything under the hood. Never open a hot cooling system.

Staying on top of maintenance before long drives helps reduce the risk of breakdowns during the hottest months.

Our logo is more than just a logo. It's a piece of our story.

When we set out to redesign our brand, we wanted it to represent more than the work we do—we wanted it to represent why we do it.

The truck featured in our logo is inspired by the same style of truck that has been part of Chris's family for over 50 years. It wasn't just a vehicle; it was where countless memories were made. Growing up, it was the only truck he ever knew. It took the family fishing, camping, on road trips, and just about everywhere in between. Nearly every childhood memory has that truck somewhere in the background.

It was also where Chris learned how to drive standard during the summers while his parents were at work. Today, that truck is still in the family—a reminder of where it all began.

The truck featured in the background of this photo isn't Chris's truck, but one day he hopes to bring the family's original truck back to life. When that day comes, it won't just be another classic vehicle—it will be a symbol of family, hard work, craftsmanship, and the memories that helped shape Meadowview Autobody & Glass.

Our new logo reflects where we've come from and where we're going. While our look has changed, the values behind it never will.

Why windshield cracks spread faster during hot weather

Have you ever seen a small chip suddenly turn into a long crack after a hot day? That’s because glass expands and contracts with temperature changes. In summer heat, your windshield can heat up quickly in the sun, then cool rapidly when the air conditioning kicks in.
