🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Today, we remind our team and our community to listen, learn, and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and the experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
As a local business and neighbour to Walpole Island First Nation, we recognize the importance of understanding the history of the land and the Indigenous communities connected to it.
We honour residential school survivors, remember the children who never came home, and acknowledge the strength and resilience of Indigenous Peoples and communities.
Every child matters. Every story matters. Every step toward reconciliation matters. 🧡
