For anyone who needs to hear this today: you don't have to tough out squeaky brakes.

Those brake pads have a little feature called squealer tabs. When the pad gets thin, the tab makes that squeal to let you know it's time for brake service.

Letting it go means it turns into a grind — on your rotors and your wallet.

Check out this classic!!

1990 Jaguar XJS. 12 cylinder classic! Client brought the car to us to perform a comprehensive inspection as he had just purchased the vehicle. He wants to be able to drive it to Calgary and back a few times a year.

We ended up doing quite a bit of work! I haven’t ever seen the rear brake rotors bolt up to the rear differential like this before. Nice to learn something new!

Half-Good Brakes Aren’t Good Enough.

If one brake pad is wearing down faster than the others, we want to know why. It usually means something isn’t moving or working the way it should, causing one pad to do more work than the others.

Simply replacing the brake pads won’t solve the problem. If we don’t fix what caused the uneven wear, the new pads could wear out early—and you could end up back in the shop sooner than you should.

We don’t just replace parts. We find the cause and fix the problem properly. That’s how we run our shop.
