When the only question is how much time do you need. Vessel length 60’. Project length 1 month. Original hatches and some steps made with teak plywood rather than solid teak. We replaced the plywood with solid teak and sanded all the decks to bring back that beautiful look and feel. We sell custom cut teak decking material by the foot, as well as install just about any teak product on a vessel.

Swimgrid repairs completed above factory spec. Tapered boards used to hide the fact that the original pattern is out of square. Each of the boards used to fill the gap was slightly tapered to account for a 1/4” total deviance from alignment. This way the final product has no obvious pattern discrepancy. Project length 10 days. We only use the highest grade teak epoxy to adhere our decks because it does not leach harmful chemicals into the environment. We do small repairs such as this right up to full teak deck replacements and sanding.

Back in the water you go. Another vessel ready just in time for the good weather. I enjoy a good Marquis and this one was fun to drive. Three IPS drives on her made for super easy docking.

This one, started October finished in January, I completed site supervisor, project coordinator, management supervisor 😉 (31 people in management and 28 tradesmen this does not include staff after opening, changes to drawings up to last moment), concrete work, carpentry, metal work and fabric work. Working at Mekanix contracting for this project. No longer DBA as Von Bessa Construction. I am currently working in both the finishing carpentry of retail spaces and marine technician work.
