Active Marine Services is now a division of Cole Maritime! We offer marine survey services for purchase or insurance. Established in 1985 by my great friend and mentor Captain Tony Toxopeus, Active will continue forward with his tradition of integrity and professionalism leading. Memberships include:

International Association of Marine Investigators (IAMI)
American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC)

A true leader in our marine community was remembered yesterday by a very large group of friends, family and colleagues. Tony was a decorated coastguardsman who participated in countless life saving operations, many times at great personal risk, he was a Navy salvage diver, A Master Mariner, and a stalwart friend. He was a pioneer in marine rescue, developing many programs used to train agencies world wide. Tony never hesitated to help when he was needed. Men like him, I fear, are dwindling in number with few taking the 'hard path' now to fill the void. He was a great mentor to me and countless others. I will miss him.

Had the Tolly 65 up for a quickie to change thruster zincs and tune props and shafts for more marine drag racing in the fall. Amazing we went so well with all this crap on the shafts... Major growth this season...
