⚠️ Rainfall and wind warnings have been issued by Environment Canada in parts of B.C. today through Thursday night ⚠️

With water pooling on roads and visibility reduced, make sure you give yourself extra travel time. Slow down, use your head and taillights, and watch carefully for pedestrians. If you hydroplane, decelerate and drive straight, don't brake.

Please drive with caution and help keep our roads safe for everyone!

🍂 The first day of fall was yesterday! Are you ready for the changing road conditions?

With shorter days and wetter roads, remember to:
🌧️ Slow down and allow yourself at least twice the normal braking distance on wet or slippery roads
🌧️ Focus on the road. Always leave your phone alone while driving
🌧️ Look for pedestrians, especially when turning at intersections, crosswalks and near transit stops
