The Granville Island Boatyard & Marina is currently accepting applications for a new labourer!

The position will include use of a forklift, pressure washer, carpentry, and general labour tasks. Granville Island Boatyard & Marina is a small facility, with only a handful of employees. As such, it is imperative that any applicants for the position are willing to work in a cooperative environment, with flexible responsibilities.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving boat stands and blocks in all weather.
• A cooperative and friendly person, who can communicate effectively with both team members, and customers.
• The ideal candidate will also be mechanically minded, and ready to learn new things.
• Ability to self motivate.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of boat terminology and operation is an asset.
• Carpentry experience is an asset.
