It is with mixed emotions, we announce Nevco Automatic
Transmissions Ltd. will close its Burnaby location effective
July 31, 2024.
After more than 45 years of business, we would like to take this
opportunity to express our deep appreciation to our customers for their trust and support over the years. Many of you have become friends, and some of you have brought your children and grandchildren for repairs. We will truly miss you all!
We are proud to have served the retail market, company fleets, and municipal and provincial vehicle fleets. As well, we have played a part in the success of many businesses though our work rebuilding transmissions and selling parts to both wholesale parts suppliers and other garages locally and nationally.
Larry has decided it is time to concentrate on vehicle restoration. As
one of the last transmission rebuilders with both the skill and parts to restore transmissions from 1940’s on, he looks forward to teaching the next generation of mechanics and hopes to pass on his knowledge and rebuilding experience so it will not be lost. Our email address [email protected] will remain active and open to consulting opportunities and occasional vehicle restoration projects. We are saddened to leave, though we are grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained through the years.
We will cherish these as we move forward to the next chapter of semi-retirement. We plan to slow down a bit and spend more time with family and friends.
