THIS DAY IN HISTORY 49 years ago, on August 31, 1977, history was made in Truro. That was the day Hollis Ford first entered the Truro automotive market, celebrating its Grand Opening as Juniper Mercury.

What began with a small operation housed in a construction trailer has grown over nearly five decades into the state-of-the-art sales, parts, and service facility we have today.

Back in 1977, we started with just two employees—well, technically three! A sales representative happened to show up one day, announced that he wanted to sell vehicles for us, and just like that, he became part of the team!

Today, 49 years later, our team has grown to over 40 employees.

Throughout those years, we have had the privilege of selling and servicing thousands of customers, building relationships that have lasted generations. Most importantly, we are incredibly proud and honoured that so many people in our community have placed their trust and confidence in Hollis Ford over the years.

As we look back at where we started, it is amazing to see just how far we have come—and we couldn't have done it without our great employees, our customers, our community, and the many people who have been part of the Hollis Ford story.

Thank you, Truro, and thank you to everyone who has helped make the past 49 years so special.
