So my wife runs out of gas in the middle of the work day and decides to film our interaction when I “come to save the day”. Here it is for your enjoyment😋

PS If you’re wondering about this “wrecker Jerry” thing…. My wife is doing a play on words in reference to a YouTube channel I watch called ‘Murphys Diesel’. The guy’s name is Rick Murphy, but goes by the name Wrecker Rick - he’s an off-road and heavy duty towing specialist, who happens to be a family man and a pretty entertaining fella. I offer that for background. Enjoy😂

It’s a cool feeling when your son decides to follow in you footsteps! It’s a blessing really.

It doesn’t come without some on the job training, however….

And as you might expect when a teenager’s involved, it depends on who you ask, who is training who!?😉

We don’t really talk about it. It’s been there a long time, almost like a guide. But have you ever noticed the deeper messaging embedded in our logo - the peace and love? I got to reflecting about that this weekend after my last few posts. There have been an overwhelming amount of heart warming and positive thoughts (and a minuscule amount of negative ones) that get a guy thinking about what matters in life! Without getting all mushy, I just wanted to take an opportunity to say thank you to our people! Thank you for your love and support. Thank you for standing with us. And thank you for taking the high road. It’s true when I say, you light up our little carve-out in the world. ✌️& ❤️

This is my face when we get a bad google review, and it just doesn’t seem fair! What’s more, the guy is speaking legalize in emails; slandering us on Facebook forums; and threatening to “take this up the ladder.” Look us up on google. Check out the review and my reply. What do you guys think? In this brave new world we live in, where someone gets their knickers in knot, and they want to ruin your hard earned rep online, maybe the best defence is to ask your customers to back you up! If Jess touched your life, please pop in for her Celebration of Life. Not at all intended to be doom and gloom, we want to joyfully remember her beautiful self! Her friends, family, customers, AND the snacks and mimosas (Jessie loved her a mimosa!), all look forward to seeing you!

It is with sadness in our hearts that we let our D&D community know that our Queen – our dearest Jessica – last Tuesday, the morning of March 4th, passed away at just 50 years old. Jess was diagnosed with stage four cancer October 2024 after experiencing some symptoms for a few months leading up to the diagnosis. 16 months later, after a long fight, she succumbed to that cancer. She was an amazing woman. Everyone who graces our doors knew it. She was tough, yet she was tender. She was smart but was happy if her team was smarter. She was gritty and she was a grinder. Still, she was warm and would go the extra mile for just about anyone. She had a great smile, a contagious laugh, and a wonderful aura about her. She was one of the good ones the Good Lord needed back home sooner than later. She will be missed dearly. To her children, Lucy, Gordo, and JJ; to her ex-husband, Dougie (still one of her closest friends and allies); to her mother, Dianne; to her best friends, Amy and Rene; and to all of you whose lives she touched, we offer our deep-felt condolences. Jess, I know you’re listening... we love you… we’ll miss you… I’ll be looking for that sign you promised me. Love Jer and the boys.
