🚨2026 Toyota Tacoma TRD - Sonic Red perfection!
They bought the truck, enjoyed it for a little while.. and then knew exactly where to bring it.
Back to the professionals at Exclusive
Detailing Studio.
Why? Because this is the second vehicle we've had the pleasure of taking care of for this family, and we were highly
recommended after their first experience with us. -
For this stunning Tacoma, we started with a thorough three-step chemical wash and decontamination process, safely removing embedded contaminants from the paint.
We then followed that with a mechanical clay bar decontamination to further refine and prepare the surface before moving into the polishing stage.

Next, our team performed a full paint polish to remove minor swirls and scratches, restoring the gloss, depth, and clarity of the Sonic Red finish.
Once the paint was polished and perfected, we completed a meticulous panel prep before applying a professional ceramic coating.

🚨 THIS IS WHY CERAMIC COATING IS A GREAT THING. 🚨

This truck was ceramic coated by Exclusive Detailing Studio last year.

Unfortunately, it recently went down a roadway and caught some brush along the side, leaving behind a good amount of scratching.

Now, let’s be clear:

❌ Ceramic coatings are NOT bulletproof.
❌ They do NOT make your paint scratch-proof.
❌ They won’t prevent every scratch or piece of damage.

But here’s what they can do…

That thin layer of ceramic sitting on top of your paint provides an additional layer of protection between your factory finish and the outside world.

In this case, that extra layer made a difference.

Instead of immediately looking at potentially aggressive paint correction, extensive wet sanding, or even repainting if the damage had gone deeper, we were able to work with the finish, remove the scratches that were within the coating/upper surface, polish the area back out, and restore the protection with a fresh ceramic coating.

🔥 Is ceramic coating magic? No.
🔥 Is it scratch-proof? Absolutely not.
🔥 Does that extra layer help protect your paint compared to having nothing there? YES.
