25+ hours of polishing later, this beautiful 2025 Ford Mustang GT Convertible is now ceramic coated and resting overnight in our self-contained, climate-controlled curing bay before delivery to its owner tomorrow.

This Mustang had originally had decals down the side of it for a draw. After the side decals were removed, adhesive residue was left behind. Rather than using proper adhesive-removal techniques, the vehicle had been aggressively machine polished, leaving behind burnt rubber trim, damaged moldings, severe swirl marks, and dangerously thin paint in several areas.

Our challenge was to restore the finish without compromising the remaining clear coat.

Using over 35 years of experience, paint-depth measurements, and a carefully executed three-stage paint correction process, we safely removed as many defects as possible while preserving the integrity of the paint. The goal isn’t to simply grind away imperfections—it’s to achieve the best possible finish while protecting the vehicle for years to come.

What a day at Exclusive Detailing Studio😳.

Today we have two vehicles in the shop that need some serious correction work.

The first is a brand-new vehicle straight from the dealership. Unfortunately, the amount of swirls and scratches present is among one of worst we’ve seen on a new vehicle. It’s a great reminder that “new” doesn’t always mean paint-perfect and it’s exactly why we need to see every vehicle to provide an accurate quote.

The second is a Mustang that was featured in last year’s Cars for Cancer event. After the decals were removed, someone apparently chose to attack the remaining adhesive with a heavy wool pad and rotary polisher rather than properly removing the glue. The result? Heavy swirl marks, paint damage, and adhesive effectively worked into the clear coat.

We also had a couple of visitors stop by today after having detailing and other services performed elsewhere at a lower price point. Unfortunately, they weren’t happy with the results. It’s a good reminder that not all services are created equal. When a price seems too good to be true, it’s worth asking what corners may be getting cut. Quality workmanship, proper products, experience, and attention to detail all matter when it comes to protecting your investment.

A true piece of Canadian muscle car history just rolled through Exclusive Detailing Studio- this stunning 1966 Pontiac Beaumont Convertible in classic white.

1966 marked the first year the Beaumont became its own standalone marque, no longer branded as an Acadian Beaumont, making this beauty an especially rare sight today. With its timeless lines, chrome accents, and unmistakable presence, this convertible turns heads before the engine even starts.
