Congratulations to Local 222 on the opening of the new Protect Ontario Workers Employment Response Centre.

Over 200 people attended the launch of the centre where autoworkers and IPS workers can support each other through economic uncertainty.

The POWER Centre will:
- Provide skills upgrading and retraining
- Deliver employment services
- Build community connections
- Bridge access to support programs and service providers

This year, Unifor's Ontario Regional Council proudly supported the 10-year anniversary event of United Way’s Period Promise campaign, which provides menstrual products to those in need. ORC Women's Committee Chair, Sarah-Kai Antanaitis, attended the event.
