The bumper and the car underneath are most likely still damaged, whether it's the brackets or the clips. Once it's screwed on, that bumper isn't coming off clean again. So if a dealership or mechanic ever needs to drop it for other work, they can't.

And you'd never know. Watch the video: heat and body filler go over the screw holes, so by the time you pick up your car, there's no sign it happened.
