ABOUT US:

At Phoenix R/C Raceway, we specialize in onroad RC Racing. We race several different classes that cater to various skill levels from Beginner all the way to the Pro level with a focus on excitement, camaraderie, competition and most importantly fun. CLASSES:
Touring:
21.5 Blinky Touring Car
17.5 Blinky Touring Car
Modified Touring Car
USGT
Tamiya touring car chassis (TT, TA, TB, TL, TRF

)

Pan cars:
13.5 Blinky 1/12 Scale
GT12
F1

Pro Tamiya Mini (21.5 blinky, stock internal gears, must retain original chassis, no 4wd or pan chassis, all hop ups allowed)

Other classes are welcome but need a minimum of 5 to race. Price:
Mon to Fri, $30 per day of open practice
Sat and Sun, $45 per day of open practice
Wed 7pm and Sat 7pm club racing, racing fee $10 on top of day fee

Please bare with us for this long message!

After 5.6 million laps, 7,500 races, and more than a decade of RC with a permanent track setup, the time has come for us to turn the page.
But before the next chapter begins, we will be taking a break to enjoy the summer and all other non-RC things!
This track has been more than just a place to race. It has been a place filled with friendships, laughter, competition, LATE nights, and countless memories. From beginner laps to podium finishes, from friendly battles to helping hands in the pits, every moment helped shape what Phoenix became.
To everyone who supported our track over the years—thank you. Your support, encouragement, and presence gave us the energy to keep going. Seeing newcomers walk through our doors with little RC knowledge and watching them grow into skilled racers who now help and guide others is something we will always be proud of and is one of Phoenix’s greatest achievements.
To our long-time sponsors, ORCA and Zombie, thank you for standing with us throughout this journey. You were never just sponsors—you were part of the Phoenix family. Your product support and willingness to help in so many ways made a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful.
While this may be the end of Phoenix at this location, it is not goodbye to the friendships, memories, and passion that were built here. Sometimes a pause is simply the beginning of something new.
We will be putting in our final laps at this location this Wednesday evening.
For those who can make it, come join us one more time.
If anyone has some old or weird Phoenix photos from back in the day, please share them in this post! We would love to take a trip down memory lane and see just how weird we all looked back then… lol.

So, that’s a wrap on our annual race this past weekend!
It was great seeing so many familiar faces, sharing plenty of laughs, and enjoying two days filled with exciting racing action. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these two race days such a memorable experience.

We are just one week away from our annual Toronto RC Champs, and we couldn’t do it without one of the longest-standing supporters of our track and racing community — RCC Distributors!

What started 8 years ago as Team Zombie Canada has grown into one of the most recognized online RC retailers in the industry. Happy Friday! We are 2 weeks away from our annual RC Champs race, which is possible with the support of our sponsors. We are excited and grateful for the support of ORCA America!

Their competition RC products have been putting racers in the winner’s circle all year. Most recently, at the ROAR Carpet Nationals, champions in both 25.5 Stock and 21.5 Super Stock were powered by ORCA. At the recent US Indoor Champs, the entire 25.5 TC A-Main was powered by ORCA B3 motors.

Always innovating, ORCA has just released a new line of batteries and the new M4 modified motor, featuring the industry’s first mass-produced design with the sensor board and solder tabs positioned on the inboard side of the motor. This shifts the motor’s weight inward toward the center of the car, improving handling and chassis rotation.

Here's our schedule for May!

We're looking forward for our Toronto RC Champs race in a couple weeks! Stay tuned for more updates about the race in the coming days we'll be posting class rules, sponsors, schedule and more!

We had an amazing 4th round of our Tamiya Spring series last Sunday and we can't wait to see how it all shakes out in our finale in a few weeks time!

🏁 Another Epic Tamiya Race Day in the Books! 🏁
​It was incredible to see everyone back at the track! As usual, the atmosphere was electric, and seeing the smiles on everyone's faces reminds us why we do this—it’s truly priceless.

​The competition was on another level this time around. We saw intense, door-to-door racing across every single class, proving once again that this is the event you do not want to miss!

​📊 The Standings are IN!
​We’ve just finished updating the points, and we have a dead heat in the GT2 class!

​Chris and Francis are officially tied for points! 😱
​This means it all comes down to the wire. The final race of the series will be the ultimate showdown to determine our overall GT2 winner. You won't want to be anywhere else when that green flag drops!

​With the RC Champ event fast approaching, now is the time to dial in those setups. We are running F1 and TTGT on that Sunday!
