Had the pleasure of diagnosing ignition system issues + a surprise oil leak while performing routine maintenance on this Audi V6 TFSI engine with low power complaints… resulted in some brand new ELRING valve cover gaskets along with brand new NGK spark plugs and BOSCH ignition coils. This engine is now back to feeling and sounding like brand new 🏎️💨

Took some beating but the rear hubs finally came out of this 2012 Dodge Journey. The rear got a fresh set of wheel bearing/hub assemblies and some new rotors. 🏎️💨

Overkill? Yes. Necessary? Of course!

These ISC coilovers getting new and upgraded 80A polyurethane bushings. Shorter design allows for an extra 10mm drop on the front suspension, in this case beneficial as these coilovers were already maxed out in terms of lowering height.

Extra benefits include:
- Reduced tire wear
- 10X lifespan as opposed to oem bushings
- Improved braking stability
- Improved handling / steering precision

Surprise repair.. 😞

Faulty power steering pump blows multiple seals on the Jetta’s steering rack.

The result is a complete overhaul of the hydraulic portion of the steering system, including new steering rack, power steering pump, and pressure switch. This steering rack hides right above the subframe, making it a tedious but satisfying repair. 🏎️

Quick photo dump of the other two projects done on the 1.8T

1. Front mount intercooler by Gravity performance
2. All aluminum rad by CSF

This mod combination will prevent heat soaking of the engine while adding power. The front mount intercooler supplies consistently cooler air than the stock side mounted intercooler, adding both power and colder combustion temperatures. Combined with the CSF radiator, adding coolant capacity which further contributes to colder engine temperatures. Making it a perfect build for the track 🏎️

Audi A4 getting new valve cover and cam chain tensioner gaskets.

Odds were against me on this one as the chain tensioner did not want to fully compress, meaning the intake cam had to come out, while also having very little room to clean under the tensioner mount.
