Can you ceramic coat a vehicle outside? Absolutely.

The key isn't whether you're indoors or outdoors. The key is controlling the environment and following the proper process.

For this job, we parked the vehicle in a shaded area and set up a canopy to keep the paint protected from direct sunlight. During polishing and coating application, we constantly used compressed air to remove dust and ensure we were always working on a clean surface.

Just as important, we selected a coating that is well-suited to mobile installation, with a short flash time and fast bonding characteristics, allowing it to be applied safely and effectively in real-world conditions.

Most coatings fail before they even go on.

The difference is in the prep.

We start with a full 2ph exterior detail using Labocosmetica Primus 2.0, followed by Purifica to remove mineral buildup and water spotting that standard washes leave behind. From there, we perform a complete decontamination with iron removal and a synthetic clay towel to ensure the surface is fully clean and ready.

Next is a 1-step primer polish using Labocosmetica Fiero on a Lake Country Blue HDO pad with an 18mm DA. This step refines the paint, removes light defects, restores clarity, and most importantly, creates the ideal surface for the coating to properly bond.

We then apply Hydr8 Ceramic Coating to all exterior surfaces including paint, plastics, glass, and wheel faces.

Hydr8 is a TEOS-based ceramic coating designed for strong bonding, excellent resistance, and real-world durability. It delivers intense hydrophobics, deep gloss, and a slick finish that makes ongoing maintenance significantly easier.

Not every step is shown here, but the process matters.

The result is a vehicle with enhanced depth, clarity, and protection that performs the way a coating should from day one.

POV: The customer blamed the kids 👀😂

This 11-year-old interior needed a serious reset. The back seat had the usual kid crumbs and salt, but the driver’s area definitely told the bigger story.

✔ Deep salt removal and heavy soiling on carpets and mats
✔ Seats fully cleaned (using 2ph system by Labocosmetica) and dry extracted
✔ Panels, plastics, vents, and trim detailed
✔ Headliner carefully spot cleaned
✔ Interior glass finished streak-free

Process included:
• Glico with agitation for mineral buildup
• Ductile for deeper cleaning organics
• Dry extraction using the Mini Tornador + vacuum attachment (together)
• Labocosmetica Omnia 2.0 throughout the rest of the interior
• Glass cleaned using Adam’s Brilliant Glaze + a mix of Bilt Hamber Traceless and Adam’s Waterless Wash

15 years of buildup gone and the interior brought back to life. 🔥

These floor mats needed a full reset 👇

• Thorough vacuum + compressed air blowout
• P&S Terminator (enzyme cleaner) for organic stains
• Drill brush agitation to break down buildup
• Labocosmetica Glico for minerals and salt deposits
• Drill brush agitation again to fully work product in
• Labocosmetica Ductile for final deep clean + soft finish
• Pressure wash to flush everything out of the fibers
• Dry extraction + blowout to remove excess water
• Hung to dry properly

No shortcuts. This is what it takes to actually restore carpets.

C6 Ceramics Hydro - 2024 RAM 2500 Turbo Diesel

This one came in with typical defects you see on black paint. Lost of swirls, light scratching, and a lack of depth from improper washing over time.

We started with a full decontamination wash to safely strip away embedded grime, iron, and buildup from the surface. From there, a 2-step paint correction was carried out using Labocosmetica Audace on a microfiber pad to cut through the defects, followed by Labocosmetica Fiero on an HDO orange pad to refine the finish and bring out maximum clarity.

Once the paint was properly corrected, we locked everything in with our elite C6 Ceramics Hydro coating. This system uses advanced ceramic technology with refined detonated nanodiamonds to enhance durability, gloss, and long-term protection.

The result is a deep, rich black finish with sharp reflections and metallic flake that now stands out the way it should.

Proper prep. Proper correction. Proper protection.
