⚒️PART 3 — Shop Talk Simplified

What’s the difference between an Insurance Adjuster and an Appraiser? 🤔

Think of the adjuster as the project manager of your claim.

🔹 The Insurance Adjuster manages the overall claim process, including reviewing coverage, coordinating repairs and rental vehicles, and approving costs. In many cases, they may never see your vehicle in person.

🔹 The Appraiser’s role is to assess the damage to your vehicle and estimate the cost of repairs. They then submit that information to the adjuster for review and approval.

Both play important roles in the claims process, but they have different responsibilities.

✔️ Adjuster = Manages the claim
✔️ Appraiser = Evaluates the damage
