🔥🎣🔥 THE BIG FISH BATTLE IS HEATING UP! 🔥🎣

We’ve updated the Northern Ontario Big Fish Battle Angler of the Year standings, and the race is getting tighter every week!

🥇 Ryder Cardy currently leads with 43 points
🥈 Trevin Victor sits in 2nd with 37 points
🥉 Casey Dixon holds 3rd with 26 points

But there is still lots of fishing left — and one big catch can shake up the standings in a hurry!

The Northern Ontario Big Fish Battle is all about getting young anglers out on the water, having fun and chasing some BIG Northern Ontario fish. Anglers 17 years old and younger compete across 8 different fish categories, with prizes for the top finishers plus the race for Angler of the Year. 🏆

We’ve loved seeing the catches come in all summer, and we can’t wait to see what hits the leaderboard next!

To all of the Walleye fisherman looking at the new Garmin Livescope.

I haven’t made a video about this yet, but I’m seeing a lot of my followers are already buying the new Livescope transducers, and I think some of you are buying the wrong one.

If you fish for walleyes, I think choosing the LVS42HD over the LVS44 is probably going to be a mistake.

I don’t have the 42HD yet (I ordered the ice transducer and it hasn’t shipped), but from the videos I’ve watched, it seems that the lack of functional range will be a huge limiting factor, whether you’re fishing in deep water or hunting for suspended fish.

The 44, on the other hand, feels like a more versatile tool that will be applicable in more fishing situations.

Just my two cents.

I’ll hopefully be putting together some video content for yall on this topic at some point in the near future.
