After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Thunder Bay Youth Anglers Fishing Tournament due to low registration numbers.
While we're disappointed we won't be able to host the event as planned, we're excited to announce something even bigger that will allow more young anglers from across Northern Ontario to participate!

๐ฆ๐ง Open to anglers 17 years old and under
(must be 17 on July 1)
๐ฒ Entry Fee: $30
๐ Species Categories:
โข Walleye
โข Northern Pike
โข Lake Trout
โข Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)
โข Speckled Trout
โข Smallmouth Bass
โข Perch
โข Salmon
๐ Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 anglers in each species category.
Anglers may only win one species category.
โญ Angler of the Year Award โญ
A special overall championship will be awarded based on a points system:
โข Anglers earn points based on their largest fish in each species category.
โข Points are awarded from 10 points for 1st place, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, continuing down to 1 point for 10th place.
โข Only an angler's largest fish in each species will count toward their points total.
This new format means more fishing, more opportunities to compete, and more chances to get Northern Ontario's young anglers out on the water all summer long!
