L**E TECHNICIAN POSITIONS

We are currently looking to fill positions for both upper and lower technicians. Experience

and/or knowledge in the automotive industry is an asset and training

will be provided.

Our L**e Technicians work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

include oil and l**e services and vehicle maintenance.

Communication skills and a good working knowledge of most

automobiles and light trucks are essential to succeed in this position.

Superior Oil Change builds customer loyalty and

retention through trust, workmanship and reputation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Performs l**e, oil and filter changes.

• Performs scheduled maintenance services, inspections and basic

servicing that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automobile

Technician.

• Provides an excellent customer experience by ensuring an ongoing

commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.

• Performs customer vehicle maintenance as requested.

• Assists in explaining procedures and repairs and any additional

required maintenance work to customers, in an effort to attain a

trusting relationship and long-term retentions.

• Provides quality workmanship to meet or exceed industry standards.

• Ensures that an unsafe vehicle is reported to management and

vehicle owner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of current automobile technology is an asset.

• Being able to walk and stand for 8 hours and perform lifting of

heavy objects.

• Ability to work effectively with computerized systems.

• Strong orientation towards customer service excellence.

• Ability to serve customers in a professional manner and to inspire

their confidence and trust.

• Results-oriented individual who completes tasks according to

instructions and demonstrates responsibility for outcomes.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused

environment.

• Ability to work in a team environment that provides assistance and

support to co-workers to achieve common goals.

• Ability to plan and organize daily tasks.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.

Responsibilities:
Plan and adjust the workloads of technicians to match their skills and abilities;
Monitor & track the stock levels and maintain above minimum stock levels of all stocked items & supplies at all times;
Supervise the activities of automotive service technicians to ensure efficient job performance and timely repairs;
Oversee the procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment and various other items required in service department;
Review customers repair orders and inspect the quality of a technician repairs before the release of vehicles;
Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the workshop;
Negotiate, interact and manage relationships with parts vendors;
Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and technician allocation for day to day operations;
Prioritize work & manage time effectively to meet demands and customer needs while handling a diversity of tasks simultaneously;
Monitor & manage shop workflow to ensure timely delivery of vehicles to customer as per the promised times;
Oversee the disposal of wastes such as used engine oil, soot to ensure adherence to health and safety laws.
Requirements:
Ability to find solutions to problems and make decisions;
High school or higher level of education;
Ability to manage customers/staff in a professional manner and to inspire their confidence and trust;
Strong automotive background with minimum 5 years of experience in automotive shop management;
Ability to multitask, adapt and cope with challenging situations;
Ability to plan, organize and follow up on the team’s activities;
Effective oral and written communication skills.
