THIS IS WHY YOU TRUST THE PROFESSIONALS!

This client had trusted a friend to take care of their vehicle while they were away.

This poor truck had over 100,000kms on ONE oil change!

After 10,000km oil starts to break down. Its additives start to oxidate and sludge up components!

These engines require a fully synthetic blend oil in order for the small oil passages to be lubricated!

The timing system also relies on fresh oil to operate the lifters and move the camshaft phasers!

Without oil this clients engine sounded like a diesel!

What your seeing below is a CAM SENSOR! & its covered in SLUDGE! (Which used to be fluid oil)

This entire job was supposed to be a quick fix.

However once we had this sensor out. Our mechanics knew the issue was SEVERE!

We stopped work and notified the customer, who allowed us to attempt to save their engine.

Uppn inspection we found OIL WAS BURNT TO THE DIPSTICK!!
Yes thats right, we couldn't even see oil on the dipstick, but it was burned onto the metal like a laser engraving.

We added 4.8L of oil! The total capacity for this truck was 5L!

Unfortunately the damage was already too far gone and oil pressure never returned to the drivers side head and valvetrain.

This customer is now searching for a new engine.

Were also looking for a 2018-2020 toyota tacoma D45 V6 (no vacuum pump) for this clients vehicle.

News came in today that we have a SECOND CAR in the running. Preparations are being made and it will be stripped this Thursday! That gives us 1 day to prep!

Normally we would have content for publishing this month, BUUUT, we hit a snag. While we're still fully operational! - our head technicians phone is not.

So the jobs of the month will be uploaded once we figure out how to bypass the two factor authentication and get our monthly repairs in the portfolio for everyone to see!

Anyone know of a good rugged DSLR or digital camera we could buy for them?! Meta glasses are not an option
