This is a teachable moment. Please for all that is holy, if you are working on cable slides and don’t know what you are doing or think you do and get in over your head please call a professional.

Due to someone at one time not knowing what they were doing this slide out went from a quick adjustment to five hours of replacing cables and fighting a losing battle on adjustments. Due to the nature of the previous damage there is still two more cables to replace and another round of adjustments to get this slide out dialed in and working correctly.

Even lots of wires won’t slow us down around here. Replaced a faulty in-command board and then reprogrammed to connect to customers phone and have clear labels for all light groups.

Finished overhauling a slide mechanism today. Two new gear packs, a new bracket, and new cross shaft assembly. Lack of maintenance caused the old ones to seize up and chew teeth off the gears.
