🚨🚛 Every day, tow truck operators, emergency responders, law enforcement officers, construction workers, and other roadside professionals face real danger while helping motorists on Saskatchewan roads.
As we approach Slow Down Move Over Day on October 17, remember that roadside safety is more than a one-day message. CAA reports that nearly 100 tow truck operators are killed every year across North America after being struck by passing vehicles.
It's the law to slow to 60 km/h for emergency or service vehicles with flashing lights. Move Over if it's safe to do so. Stay alert, and give them as much room as possible. A few careful seconds can save a life.
