Giti Tire Powers the World's Fastest Production Car - The BYD YANGWANG U9X.

In September 2025, the BYD YANGWANG U9X electric hypercar shattered the production-car top-speed world record - reaching 496.22 km/h - equipped with Giti's purpose-built GitiSport e.GTR2 Pro tires. This wasn't a one-time achievement: just weeks earlier, the same partnership had already set a new EV land speed record of 472.41 km/h at the German Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) proving grounds. Two records. One tire. Built by Giti.

The GitiSport e.GTR2 Pro was specially designed and developed in collaboration with the YANGWANG team, engineered with advanced reinforced rubber compounds, ultra-high-strength aramid fibres, and race-grade technology validated in 500 km/h indoor tests.
