Hello Riverside Owners, over the coming week or so we the administrative volunteers on this page will be converting to a normal “non-business” Group page that all owners will be welcome to join and share info, post items for sale, share pictures etc freely and easily…..

This page was set up as a corporate page for the park many years ago and now that the original administrator and creator is no longer with us we are unable to make the page fully functional as a simple community sharing page.

Please watch for a new group created by Bonita Jones who will add as many of you as she can. If you see and join/accept the invite to join, and know others in the park not on the members list of the new group please help us by inviting them to join the group.

Thank you in advance to all of you who choose to join our community page, we look forward to many shared stories of our fabulous park family here at Riverside RV Village

I'm very sorry to announce that Pat Coupland passed away this morning. Pat will be forever missed by everyone.

It’s that time of the year again! Each year our seasonal water is turned off, the water lines are blown out and antifreeze is pumped down outside water stand taps also referred to as stand ups.

This is scheduled to occur on Monday September 27, 2021 at 9:00am. Lots that will be affected are 13 to 215.

The Board organizes a crew to blow out the lines and anti-freeze the outside taps. Crews will need to access your lot several times during the process.

There are several Important Responsibilities each owner has for this to happen.

1. September night temperatures can fall below zero Water stand ups need to be insulated and covered to prevent outside taps from freezing. Frozen taps have to be unthawed before the lines can be blown creating huge problems for the work crews. Even if your own unit is winterized, stand ups need to remain insulated and covered until the day the lines are blown out.

2. Before the blowdown date remove all 3 way adaptors also referred to as y connectors, crews aren’t responsible for damage that may occur when they have to remove them.

3. Disconnect trailer feeder hoses from your stand up.

4. Make sure there is clear access to your water stand-ups for the blowdown crews.

Sewer Lines:
The Board will advise owners of the final date the sewer system can be used. After that date NO USAGE of the sewer should happen as the sewer lines will be flushed and plugs installed.

Hello we would like to again remind all dog owners that P**p bags are to be carried with you until you are at a garbage disposal.

While we understand some like to leave it behind until they are on the return home.

there are a number of issues with this first and foremost it is unsightly, secondary when left on the road it can, and has been driven over, and if you forget then someone else has to clean up after you.

Please DO NOT leave your p**p on stand-by!

Thank you on behalf of all of us!

Can everyone please carefully read the email from the board and the Blow Down coordinator today, there is VERY IMPORTANT information in there regarding the end of the season and park blow down....

This excerpt from the email clearly identifies the need for EVERYONE to read this information

“The weekend before blowdown of 2018 the temperatures dropped and the blowdown crew, who were all volunteers, spent 6 hours on the Sunday thawing and covering over 80 frozen stand-ups. NONE of us volunteers and the blowdown coordinator would want to see that happen again.

Some small preventative maintenance can take care of this problem.”
