In Memory of LYLE VASS:
We at Muscle Motors Ltd had the privilege of working closely with Lyle at Rods n Restos. He was a true metal fab genius and a real legend in the car world. His talent and passion showed in every project he created. His legacy lives on in the cars & trucks he helped build, the shops he supported and the Strathmore Fun Runners Car Club he was such a big part of.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. He will be truly missed. 💔

VOTE FOR US for Engine of the Year contest. One of our Muscle Motor engines is one of the top 10 contenders. Our customer, Richard Guido’s Turbocharged 521 cid Pontiac engine is #5. He drives his 1965 6-speed Pontiac GTO from Red Deer to several U.S Drive and Drag events a year, averaging 3000-5000 miles per event. We built this reliable engine in 2013. His odometer just rolled over to 170,000 miles.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Experience and knowledge working on newer and older vehicles including muscle cars, classics, race cars and hot rods
- The ability to troubleshoot minor and major problems
- Remove and reinstall engines
- Experience with wiring
- Repair vehicles in a timely and financially responsible manner
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals
- Operate equipment/vehicles on road tests
- Welding & fabrication experience an asset
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ability to communicate when parts are needed or additional repairs are required
- Effective time management skills – able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines with the ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive team player
- Hardworking, reliable and dependable
- Courteous, professional and positive attitude required
- Capable of delivering great customer service
- Motivated and able to work independently
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to research with average to above-average computer skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certificate
- Canadian High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers License with a good drivers abstract
- 5+ years working in the trade
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Possession of complete set of hand tools
- Steel toed safety boots
- Reliable personal transportation
