We have another JustJoes Workiversary to celebrate!

Erika Harvey is celebrating 4 years at JustJoes today!

From dealing with customers and suppliers, tracking down parts, solving problems, and helping keep this place running smoothly, Erika has become a huge part of the day-to-day operations here at JustJoes.

For someone who came into the automotive service world with no experience just four years ago, you sure have made some massive strides in a pretty short amount of time. You’ve learned a ton, taken on more and more responsibility along the way, and I’m excited to see where you go from here!

Hey guys Joe here!

I did an interview with CBC regarding our PEI Motor vehicle Inspection Program which I believe will air tonight.

During that interview I miss spoke and I want to clear it up.

1) I stated the manual has not been updated since the 70s. In reality that was more of an exaggeration on my part. The book has been updated in the late 90s as well as around 2010. They do also mail out clarification and amended rules from time to time. However my point remains the same. The book is dated and struggles to keep up in todays age. They are working on an updated version though!

2) I stated only the drivers door has to function. I miss spoke. BOTH front doors and windows have to function.

Sorry for the confusion. I am just happy to help clear some things up when it comes to auto repair. We are all about honesty and transparency here so let us know if you have any questions!

Heads up! We will be closed tomorrow August 21st for the good 'ol PEI tradition that is Gold Cup Day!

The team is really looking forward to a long weekend. We got our butts kicked this week. I think 90% of our jobs this week decided to be difficult!

Has anyone else noticed that if you are working into a long weekend the four day week seems to be 100x harder than a normal week? For us it seems to never fail!

We hope everyone has a great weekend and gets to enjoy our wonderful PEI summers!

Today marks a pretty special milestone.

A huge congratulations and thank you to Kyle White on his 10-year JustJoes workiversary!

Kyle has been with us through a lot over the last decade. Different locations, new team members, plenty of changes, and all the ups and downs that come with running a business. Through it all, Kyle has been a steady part of the team and someone we’ve always been able to count on.

It’s also been pretty cool watching his life grow outside of work. Over the last 10 years we’ve seen Kyle and family buy their first home and welcome a baby into the world. Being able to celebrate those milestones with our team is something that’s really special.

Kyle, thank you for everything you’ve done for JustJoes over the last 10 years. We truly appreciate your hard work and loyalty. We hope JustJoes has been a place where you’ve felt supported, valued, and able to build not just a career, but a life.

Heads up: JustJoes will be closing today at 4:00 PM to allow any team members who wish to attend the procession honouring fallen Island EMS paramedics Mike MacKenzie and Jenna Croucher the opportunity to do so.

We encourage everyone who is able to attend and stand alongside our first responders, their families, friends, and colleagues as we honour these two heroes.

Every day, first responders answer the call to help their neighbours during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Today, our community has the opportunity to show up for them.
