Did you know why it takes us longer to prep and spray our bedliners? We fully disassemble and sand the entire box before we spray. Both for the finished look and durability. Factory spray liners (which are quite often more than what we charge) do not get the level of prep that is needed. “If” it’s even sanded at all, typically they spray a chemical adhesion promotor around the edges to make it stick. This is a truck we are doing today and we peeled the tailgate piece off in literally seconds.

This is why you don’t do a plastic drop in liner. This is an 09 ranger in mint condition with 100k. Imagine our surprise when we pulled the drop in out to prep for spray. Out to get a proper patch welded in and cleaned up so the bed will look as good as the rest of the truck. And btw this spot was “repaired” recently.
