Join Jane Czarny aboard the Juliet III on Saturday, October 17 for Spirits on the Avon, part of our Voices of the Avon series.

A storyteller, writer, drama educator and longtime member of Stratford’s arts community, Jane brings decades of theatre and storytelling experience to tales of local history, mystery and the unexplained.

Come hear about the spirits and legends connected to Stratford’s past while we cruise the river. We can account for the passengers. The spirits are Jane’s department.

John Miller founded Stratford Summer Music in 2001 and spent 18 years helping it grow into a celebration that brought Canadian and international artists to Stratford’s concert halls, parks and waterfront.

On Saturday, October 17, he’s joining us aboard the Juliet III for Voices of the Avon, sharing stories about Stratford Summer Music and his connection to the river.

Come down for lunch on the patio, then head out on the river aboard the Juliet III. It’s a fun, easy outing for the whole family—and a pretty nice way to enjoy the fall colours.

Order a meal on the patio and receive 15% off any boating experience that same day. You can book online ahead of time or simply come on down.

A reminder that boating will be closed this Saturday for the Dragon Boat Festival, but we’ll still be open for food. Our hours will be posted online daily, so check before you visit.

Our patio will be OPEN this Saturday for the Stratford Rotary Dragon Boat Festival! 🍔🌭

While all boat rentals & river tours will be CLOSED for the day, there will be plenty of action happening on the Avon!

🐉 First race: 8:00 am
🏆 Championship Race: 4:45 pm

Come down, cheer on the paddlers, take in all the excitement along the river, and stop by The Boathouse patio for lunch! ☺️
