Spring maintenance. It’s raining hard today…What’s a good day, what’s a bad day? No matter what happens in our lives the world will keep turning. It’s our reaction to the day that dictates what type of day one wants to experience. Ever notice when your shopping for a car all of a sudden the roads are full of the type of car you want? (Unless it’s some rare ass s**t but you know what I mean) Same s**t with life. If you hunt for the reasons why s**t sucks that’s all you see. If you look for the “good” that’s all you get. The difference between a hero and a villain is really how they reacted to a life jarring event that they experienced. A villain is feeding its negative reaction the hero is a positive reaction. Life is hard, it will hit you when you don’t expect it. Be the Hero for your family when life gives you the opportunity. And if you encounter a villain in your life’s journey have some compassion and empathy. Share the love. Sometimes that’s all a villain needs to become a superhero.

Look another DTM legend. Any of you 80’s kids remember the Hugo boss livery on these? I had a Tamiya rc catalog as a kid and I remember the 1/10 scale 190e 16v and the e30 m3 I wanted both because they had drivers! Funny how life turns out. My parents did not get me the rc cars, but instead my late father built a business which he passed down to me, we worked shoulder to shoulder and decided on the direction we wanted to go, I learned the hard way to manage a business, failed more times then I succeeded, but learned from my dad moving forward no matter what is the way to win. That’s how I work through my issues, my dad has seen me solve all sorts of problems when he was around, from technical to staffing. We’ve had all sorts of techs pass through here and I learned something every time. Everyone who passed through here served a purpose at the time even if the business or the individual outgrew the situation. I’m thankful for all the relationships. Grateful for the opportunity to work with my dad. Day in and day out now I work my ass off because I’m my family’s plan a,b,c….. back to the w201 swapped in the excellent shift kit from , and some maintenance for the summer

E30m3’s with dog boxes and touring tanks are my favourite. We Motul’d the engine transmission and diff. Changed out some non lined gear clamps for the lined ss ones, stopped the ps leak, new reservoir, added a few tickle charger port, adjusted the v belts and generally just got it ready for the season. I think one of the coolest things I like about this one is the perfect fit bbs forged wheels made exclusively for the Japanese market in this colour with the perfect front/rear offsets specifically for the e30m3, and the kicker is they are as aggressive as a set of wheels on massive spacers on your typical slammed e36.

Track tool in for focus specialized service. On this visit we changed the worn exhaust hub with an overbuilt part from vac, performed a sap delete, we swapped the headers for cerakote applied supersprint stepped headers, where we attached the supersprint high flow cats and mid pipe. Then pulled the oil pan, and replaced the rod bearings with vac bearings and arp hardware. Totally ready for the track this year

Ultimate drivers pagoda. Valve adjustment required all the rockers out because the adjusters were all seized, we found one of the rocker retaining springs fallen off. We torqued the head bolts and adjusted the valves to spec. While we were there I replaced the breather and coolant hose off of the TB. The original service was to upgrade the wiper/signal stalk, while getting to it we replaced all the bulbs. We also updated the ground cable and terminals. Ready for the spring and summer

Prepped to be a fun street/track car. Everything to do with engaging driver involvement has been addressed. Icing on the cake parts for this w201 came from . High quality stuff, on this car we used the short shift kit and door cards. Sway bar links are an oem+1 upgrade. We serviced the cis, tossed the “crap fuel chip” and now this cossie spins tires under hard acceleration 😃

W201 2.6 190e that had everything adjustable that deals with fuelling adjusted out of spec, on top of some key issues that was the start of the problems. After a new EHA valve and all the vacuum leaks addressed we dialed it back into spec and now it’s back to being an over engineered champion of a daily driver.

The OG 190. Came In with a gas tank full of rust/petrol mixture, carb was leaking internally, timing out, updated the ignition, tank dropped, cleaned, welded resealed in and out, carb also disassembled cleaned and resealed. All fluids refreshed. Now it runs, and starts regardless of outside temp. There is some more to this moving forward.
