I hope you all had a great Easter Weekend with good food, good weather and great people!

If you want to come view what we have in the yard, I am unavailable Wednesday afternoon, and all day Friday this week. I please ask all of you to only set up a viewing appointment if you are serious about coming. I understand unforeseen circumstances, but without a deposit it is first come, first serve (50% deposit holds for 30 days). I am juggling my own start-up business, Square Body Motors parts sales and my family, so please be considerate of my time.

There is some exciting news around the corner, but that won't be released until everything is finalized!

Yesterday was parts, and today is trucks for clear out.

Truck prices range from $3000-$500. Yup, you read that right!

This year has brought many changes for all of us that have called Square Body our second home or parts haven. With 2026 on our doorstep we can transition into this new normal with a new year. Because of your support and love of square bodies, our new business model will be just as amazing as our restorations were, just give this little lady some time.

The easiest way to get a hold of me for parts is a text (403-929-1209) a message to the page or sending an email because I'm not always with my phone or laptop. I am juggling kids, getting my side-gig off the ground and fixing up my vehicles (including my beautiful '79 GMC Sierra Classic)

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, and that 2026 brings you finished projects, love and laughter.

Back when the weather was still beautiful I snapped these photos of our parts/ project trucks. Come spring you'll see these being sorted through and some (maybe all) up for sale!

Nick is working on rebuilding engines in his free time, as well as finishing the 74 Jimmy and 87 V10.

I am in Stavely for short periods on the weekdays for school pickup. If you want to pop by and grab some parts you can message to line up a day to do so.

The 1974 Orange that was previously listed has sold and next up for sale will be a rebuilt for performance 454 motor w/ transmission. More details will come in the new year.

Please don't travel today unless necessary! The roads are terrible, winter is back with a vengeance. Atleast it should be a white Christmas though!

The 1974 Orange is officially up for sale, the ad is below, but you'll also be able to find it on Facebook Marketplace.

1974 GMC Sierra Custom K1500 (4x4).

We've taken steps to make this truck mechanically sound and roadworthy(needs the horn hooked up from steering column still). A good solid base truck with the frame in great condition for a 51 year old local Alberta truck out of Shaw GMC in Calgary. A great candidate to start driving and fix up as you go. New windshield, brakes, front end components, plugs/wires etc. fluids all serviced, Compression test on 350 motor all above 135. TH350 Transmission shifts into all gears, and the factory 203 AWD Transfer case engages and functions in 4hi and low. No need to bring a trailer, come and actually drive away the Square Body project truck you always wanted to do!

With the volume of new followers we've gotten, I wanted to hop on and update you all, new and old.

What's up Wednesday again!!

The VW Campervan leaves on Sunday to its new owners after almost a year of sitting in our yard. They are super excited to have a project to do together, and I'm so excited for it to go to a couple that will love and cherish it.

This is a little sneak peek of the next vehicle that's going to be for sale - our 1974 Orange (now the 74 tri-color). We're still working on getting the ad together, but the official posting is to come!

If you haven't noticed, when you comment, message, or email, it is me (Diann) replying or posting. Don't worry, Nick still sees everything, but he's not interested in being on the frontline of social media.

We appreciate you all, and every follower or like reminds us how many people love us or these beautiful old trucks.

I hope you all are able to take a moment to remember our soldiers, without them we wouldn't have the freedom we do today.

I will still be working on getting items uploaded to our e-commerce site today, but won't be answering any inquiries that may come in today until tomorrow.

I figured I'd hop on and show you all a small fraction of the parts we have for sale.

This week has been an adjustment, I am working on transferring our information on our socials, website and Google business profile over, so please bear with me. I'm also adding items onto our e-commerce site as I sort through my photos.

I'm only at the shop (well the yard now) for appointments as the weather gets colder. Please reach out if you are looking for a part that isn't listed on our e-commerce site, I have a decent memory on what we have and what we don't.

This will more than likely be the last What's up Wednesday, as without the restoration side of the business there won't be tons to update you on. I will still be posting bi-weekly to monthly parts posts as I get through everything.

Today is our last day as an Autobody shop, we are working on cleaning out the shop and soaking in the last few hours of the adventure that has been Square Body Motors.

If you have parts that you've paid for or need to purchase, fret not as I will be available by appointment.

Please note that the shop number (403-549-0375) will no longer be in use, but I can be reached through our page, the website, or my cell phone (403-929-1209).

It's onto the next chapter for us all. It's been a wonderful ride of trucks and laughs.

It's your favorite day of the week!

The 87 Drum truck is still in the booth, body parts are in primer.

The Jimmy is up on the hoist, getting exhaust work done.

The boys have been sealing up cabs in the yard and organizing parts to the projects we are keeping.

The shop is the emptiest I've ever seen it, things are being packed up like no tomorrow. It's hard to believe that in two weeks, we will have another business leasing out the shop.
