Reminder to all drivers to slow down and respect speed limits stop signs and pedestrian walk ways and crossing lights. Schools open next week and students will be out in force. Passing a school buss when stopped with emergency lights flashing is against the law and carries a strict fine. There is no excuse for speeding, slow down and arrive alive. Make sure your vehicle braking system can react to emergency breaking, your windshield wipers are doing the job and that your windshield is clean inside with no obstructions. Driving a safe vehicle is requirement by law.

Many of our new canadians are unaware of the danger crossing buisy roadways in high traffic areas. Six adults and children after exiting a buss on Topsail Road walked around the front of the buss causing the driver of on coming vehicles to swerve into the an coming lane, fortunately there was no oncoming traffic. This could have been a disaster. Please use the cross walks where possible.
Drivers please respect the speed limits, in the blink of an eye tragedy happens.

People please slow down 68KM through school zone on Topsail Road is unnaceptable. We need police visibility in school zones during school hours. Bumper riding and agressive driving also needs our attantion. Please Drive Smart !
