Earlier this spring, Chris Draper headed out as mechanic support for the Classic Car Adventures Spring Thaw event.

With an incredible variety of classic and vintage vehicles making their way across British Columbia, Chris certainly stayed busy. Over the course of the event, he responded to approximately 18 breakdowns, working tirelessly to keep participants moving and ensure everyone could continue their journey.

Great work, Chris, and thanks to Classic Car Adventures for another fantastic Spring Thaw! 🚗🔧🏔️

We love what Rigs of the Day Lots are doing to bring the automotive community together. It was an absolute treat to see Trevor Johnston's Ferrari F40 in person—what an icon. Who else dreamed of owning one of these when they were a kid? 🔥🏎️

Thanks for bringing out such an incredible machine and helping create events that bring enthusiasts together.

We've been busy, so here's one of a few updates on what we've been up to lately!

We're happy to welcome this beautiful Alfa back to the shop after the Classic Car Adventures Spring Thaw Kick Off. After developing a rough idle and intermittent misfire, it was time for a little attention.
We treated her to a few well-deserved upgrades and repairs, and she's now running smoother and ready for many more miles of enjoyment.

Classic cars always keep things interesting, and it's a privilege to help keep these pieces of automotive history on the road.

With the drive happening this weekend, we’ve had some incredible cars roll through the shop lately—and this Alfa is easily one of our favorites.

If you haven’t checked out Classic Car Adventures yet, they put together some amazing driving events across BC that are well worth a look.

Our lead mechanic will be out there this year as a tail guide/mechanic, keeping things running smoothly.

Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing updates from the road all weekend.

This imported Audi RS6 has just arrived from Japan and is getting prepped for its new home here in BC. Always exciting to see something this rare come through the shop.

This Ford F1 was built over the last few years by Chris, the owner and mechanic behind Outwest. Heavily modified with modern suspension systems, it’s a true head-turner.

Chris has a lifelong passion for vehicles, something clearly reflected in his career. He entered the industry at just 16 years old and has now spent around 20 years working across all levels of automotive craftsmanship — from managing large transport fleets to rebuilding vintage Bentleys for Le Mans events in Europe.
