The Two Bravest and luckiest People I know have made it home and doing well.
This past week has been such an eye opener for my family. I’m still at a loss of words but what I definitely know moving forward is “Don’t sweat the small things”, always say “I love you”, and never forget to hug each other. Last Saturday at 830am I thought I lost the opportunity to ever do those things again with Harper and Brandon..
Brandon and I can’t thank the staff at Wiarton hospital and Victoria hospital in London enough for the care we received for our Harper.
Harper suffered 3 fractured Ribs, internal bleeding from her lung, liver, and her gland beside her liver, along with her minor cuts and bruises. But she’s doing amazing and has been recovering well. She’s one strong and brave little girl.
Brandon just recently had surgery on his wrist and started physio on his knee. He also has a fractured Sternum. But he’s recovery well considering everything.
I really don’t know how to Thank everyone. When something so traumatic hits in our small town everyone just throws there hands together and we get stuff done and man oh man our small town definitely did not disappoint, everything from bring my family meals, bring things over for not only
Harper but Brogan as well. A huge shot out goes to Harper’s teachers and hockey team, for making her a huge sign with soo many wonderful and thoughtful cards from her team mates and friends.
Thank you to everyone for all the thoughtful messages I know I haven’t been able to respond to them but trust me they have not gone unnoticed. And Thank you to all our family and friends this past week wouldn’t have been possible with out your support.
I’ll be sure to update again on how these two are doing. But I’m just grateful that there still here with us everyday.
