The Township of Rideau Lakes invites residents to nominate local businesses that provide valuable services and employment to the community. This year includes a new “Long Standing Business” category for companies operating 20+ years. Link in the comments for details.

Deadline: March 6, 2026. Winners will be celebrated at the Business Awards Breakfast on April 15.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱.

We’re donating $2 from every February feature sold to the Trinity Trotters from Trinity United Church, Smiths Falls walking in the Coldest Night of the Year to raise funds for Cornerstone Landing and the critical work they do in our community. They're also participating in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kids AND the Polar Plunge Smiths Falls Police Services for Special Olympics - you can find information about those fundraisers on their page.
