The driver training industry identified responsible driving attitudes as the most important quality of a good driver. To accomplish the goal of helping new drivers develop responsible attitude, the curriculum uses philosophical approach based on learning outcomes and learner-centered strategies. The seven curriculum goals are:
1. Risk Avoidance
2. Driver psychology
3. Social responsibilities
4. Legal responsibilities
5. Safe Driving
6. Vehicle performance
7. Motor skills
When successful, students earn two grade 11 high school credits. Also if they stay free of violations and at-fault crashes during the 18 months of their Novice stage, they can qualify to take their Class 5 test in 18 months instead of 24 months.
Cost: $1400.00 (can be made in payments starting at first lesson)
6 ½ Hour Package:
This course consists of 5-hours in-car lessons, booking of the road test, ½ hour pre-test warm-up, and 1 hour use of car for the road test. All aspects of the road test are covered in these lessons.
Cost: $450.00 (can be made in payments starting at first lesson)
Road Sense Package:
This is a good package for parents who have busy schedules and would like their child to have the proper driver training. This course consist of 8 hours in-car lessons, booking of test of the road test, ½ hour pre-test warm-up, and 1 hour use of car for the road test. Cost: $720.00 (can be made in payments starting at first lesson)
