đ¨ Important reminder about vehicles left on the side of the road this winter:
In Alberta, under the Traffic Safety Act, a vehicle left in one spot on a highway for more than 72 consecutive hours is considered abandoned. If itâs creating a hazard, blocking traffic, or sitting in a dangerous spot (like on icy shoulders of Hwy 2 or Hwy 88), it can be towed even sooner by police or road authorities.
That means extra costs for the owner: towing fees, storage charges that add up daily, possible fines, and the hassle of getting your vehicle back.
Donât wait until it becomes a bigger problem. If your vehicle is broken down, stuck in snow/ice, or involved in a minor incident â call us right away. Weâll get it moved safely and legally before it turns into an abandoned vehicle situation.
At Be Rescued Towing & Hauling, we provide fast, fair, local service with no third-party markups or complications.
