And what a grand day it was! Last Saturday, our team traded tools for golf clubs and spent the day golfing at Cordova Bay Golf. Sunshine, 20 degrees, fresh air and a fair amount of friendly competition - spectacular!

Thank you to all who joined us to make it the day it was - bragging rights are likely to last a few days yet....

Something to keep an eye on - thank you to our friends at Waggoner Cruising Guide

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to permanently move to Daylight Saving Time. A handful of Canadian Provinces have already made this move, while others still change the clocks twice a year. The Bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent in the U.S. now moves to the Senate for their vote.

Waggoner is keeping watch as any decisions will affect the production of tide and current guide predictions for boaters.

After World War II, when Victoria B.C. was still sleepy, Eric Philbrook and Ernie Butler set up shop along one of the waterside back streets. They built cabinets, but made most of their money fashioning Venetian blinds out of wood.

Now, for more than 50 years, near Victoria BC, Canada has offered the finest in custom yacht construction, renovations, service and repairs.

Two marinas, accommodating vessels up to 150 tons or 130 feet, enable our team of renowned and experienced craftsmen to produce the finest in sophisticated workmanship.

Philbrook’s is regularly regarded as the premier full service boatyard in the Pacific Northwest and is a proud member of Superyacht Northwest.
