Fresh meat for the wrench pit.

Meet Mallard — the newest Junior Technician at The Dog’s Hogs.

He’s stepping into the deep end of old bolts, seized fasteners, mystery wiring, leaking carbs, and motorcycles older than most smartphones. Around here that means learning the hard way: dirty hands, sharp eyes, and enough patience to argue with a 40-year-old carburetor for three hours straight.

Mallard’s already proving himself as thoughtful, hardworking, and willing to get stuck in wherever the shop needs him. That matters around here.

If you see him in the shop, be nice. We’re still calibrating him.

Some people talk about supporting the riding community… and some people just roll up and donate a whole motorcycle.

Huge shoutout to .rebellionhub for handing over this 1980s Venture Royale to become our newest Motorcycle Resurrection Crew project bike. She needs a little love but she’s still got spirit!

This is what community looks like. While a lot of folks are chasing trends, these guys are out there building something genuinely exciting on Vancouver Island—RV rentals, repairs, tours, and bold ideas that help people get out into the wild and actually live. The riding world needs more people like this.

Dog (our fearless Head Tech) is already eyeing this machine like a surgeon sizing up a complicated operation… and we cannot wait to bring it back from the dead with our crew.
