The wait is nearly over for 8Y RS3 owners worldwide — something BIG is coming to kick the New Year off right!
After MONTHS of development, refinement, and testing throughout the world, Unitronic will soon release its unlock solution and tuning suite for the factory Bosch MG1 ECU found in the 8Y RS3.
Unitronic has not only spent extra time to ensure the ECU calibrations are well developed for all climates, conditions, and fuels, but we’ve also packed in additional features that have been popularly requested over the years, and throughout our tenure with the last-generation 5 cylinder models. Enthusiasts can expect to see Rolling Antilag, adjustable launch boost and RPM, UniFLEX support, Drive Select-controlled (and customizable) exhaust overrun, and much more!
The MG1CS163 ECUs will require our physical unlock, which is relatively new to the VW/Audi world and with such, it’s important for us to ensure we offer multiple options, including some that do not involve any downtime of your beloved RS3s!
