Carpenters

$18-25 / hour(depending on skill set of applicant)
We are currently seeking for an 2 Experienced Carpenters to work on our Boatbuilding Shop.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installing wooden structures such as roofing framers, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work.
• Designing and installation of cabinets, shelves, drywall, and insulation
• Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.
• Discussing and consulting with the Shop Owner/Head Master Carpenter to ensure the best possible results and the final product.
• Reading blueprints and designs prepared by other architects, construction professionals, and ensuring they meet building code recommendations and requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions , good communication skills , good in math , experienced in using power tools, reliable and willing to go to work everyday.
Skills and Qualifications:
• A degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry
• High level of creativity
• Excellent design skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools, (table saw, circular saw, jigsaw, bandsaw ,router, miter saw, reciprocating saw including drills, nail guns, chisels, and sanders (random orbital sanders /palm sanders, disc sanders)
• Cabinet making or joinery skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
