: On certain Continental CrossContact tires, the rubber may be contaminated with small metal fragments, causing the sidewall of the tire to fail. If this happens, it could result in a sudden loss of air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall affects LX25 235/55R18 tires with a date code of 1423 or 1623 and LX25 225/65R17 tires within the date code range of 1423 - 1723.
