Out with the old, in with the new! 🔧🚚

This truck came in with some nasty vibrations, and after a little diagnosing, we found the culprit a bad driveshaft. A new one is installed, everything is checked over, and this truck is ready to get back on the road smooth and steady. 💪⚙️.

The shop is BUSY! 🔧⚙️

Mike gives us a quick look around Extreme Transmission, and there’s a little bit of everything going on 4L60E, 6L80, Allison, TR6060, Turbo 350, Sprinter and telehandler transmissions, plus a Mustang getting its dual-disc clutch sorted out.

With transmissions at every stage of the process, some ready to go and others waiting on parts, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. Finding the right parts can be a challenge these days, but we keep digging, building, and getting the job done.

Just another day at Extreme busy shop, great team, and plenty of transmissions to keep us moving! 💪🔧.

This Mustang came in with a McLeod dual disc clutch that wasn’t releasing properly, so we got it apart to find out what was going on. 🔧🐎

Turns out one of the discs had been dropped and bent, causing the issue. Luckily, we may be able to replace just the discs instead of the entire clutch assembly saving the customer a serious chunk of change.

A couple new discs, a little work, and this Mustang should be ready to get back on the road. 💪🏁.

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is getting a modern upgrade. 🔧🔥

We're converting it from a classic Powerglide 2-speed to a 4L60 4-speed automatic for improved drivability and performance. That means shortening the driveshaft, modifying the crossmember, and installing a new shifter kit to match the upgraded transmission.

It takes some custom fabrication and careful attention to detail, but when it's all finished, this Chevelle will be ready to hit the road with the best of both worlds classic looks and modern performance. 🚗💪
