to last week at the Skills Canada National Competition in Toronto, where Tiana represented Saskatchewan in the Autobody trade.
Tiana competed in a true “fishbowl” environment — working in full view of judges, peers, industry professionals, and thousands of students walking through the venue. That kind of pressure is no small thing, but she handled it with incredible professionalism, steady focus, and genuine enthusiasm from start to finish. Every task, every moment, every adjustment under observation — she showed the kind of composure and pride in her work that speaks volumes about her dedication to the trade.
We are incredibly proud of how she represented herself, her training, and her province on the national stage. Experiences like this don’t just test technical skill — they build confidence, resilience, and a deeper passion for the skilled trades.
We’re also proud to be part of something bigger — growing the skilled trades and supporting apprentices as they develop their careers. As a company, ACX was honoured to be a sponsor of the event, and it was an incredible experience to represent ACX in front of more than 7,000 school-aged students who came through the doors. Watching their excitement and curiosity as they explored the trades throughout the event was truly inspiring, and it reinforces just how important it is to invest in the next generation.
Even more to celebrate — we are proud to share that Ethan from Excellence will be representing ACX at the WorldSkills Competition 2026 this September. An incredible achievement and an amazing opportunity to showcase skills on the world stage.
And last but certainly not least, huge congratulations to Cassy from ACX St. James for bringing home Gold in Car Painting, along with the Royal Bank of Canada Regional Award for the highest overall score among Manitoba competitors. A phenomenal accomplishment that reflects her talent, precision, and hard work.
Moments like these are what the skilled trades are all about — growth, opportunity, mentorship, and pride in craftsmanship. We’re grateful to support our apprentices and proud to be part of their journey.
