We had a great time taking part in Trucktastic! Children’s Expo last weekend at Prairieland Park!

It was great seeing so many families come out and giving kids the chance to get up close with the trucks and equipment they love. We were proud to be part of a fun day that also helped raise funds for Family Service Saskatoon and the important programs they provide in our community.

A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, participating companies and everyone who came out and made the day such a success!

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

✈️ Not Your Everyday Tow! 🛩️🪝

Astro Towing got the opportunity to take on a unique job at YXE Airport — because sometimes towing means thinking a little outside the box!

Two of our operators were sent out to assist with relocating retired F-28 aircraft that had been sitting disabled and out of service in a grassy area for several years.

The aircraft needed to be carefully pulled from where they had been sitting and relocated to a designated laydown area, where Inland Steel would be taking over for disposal.

It’s not every day our tow trucks find themselves hooked up to an airplane! ✈️😎

At Astro, we pride ourselves on being able to look at an unusual job, figure out what needs to be done, and put the right equipment and people to work. From everyday towing and recovery to the jobs that are a little more outside the box — we’re always up for a challenge. 💪🪝

Astro Towing is proud to support Haircuts for Hope, happening August 30 at the Saskatoon Indian & Métis Friendship Centre! 🧡

This free community event provides haircuts, food, family activities, and access to community supports for individuals and families facing financial hardship, homelessness, and other barriers.

After welcoming hundreds of community members in its first year, Haircuts for Hope is back for 2026. We’re happy to contribute to the community BBQ and help ensure attendees can enjoy a warm meal in a welcoming environment.

A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone helping make this day possible!

We’re proud to support this year’s Trucktastic! Children’s Expo, presented by the Saskatoon Lions Club, on August 29!

Trucktastic! is a fun-filled family event where kids can get up close with their favourite trucks and equipment, meet the people who operate them, and enjoy activities, concessions, and plenty of excitement throughout the day.

Even better, all proceeds support low-cost mental health services at Family Service Saskatoon. 💙

As a participating company, we received complimentary family passes—and this year, we’ve chosen to donate them back to the community. Family Service Saskatoon works with local children’s charities to help get these passes into the hands of families who could use a little extra support.

We’re proud to help make this great community event accessible to even more families!

What a weekend at SIR!

Astro Towing is proud to sponsor Saskatchewan International Raceway as they celebrate an incredible 60 years at the track this year.

Saturday’s feature event brought out a huge crowd, a beautiful day, plenty of fast cars, and an impressive fireworks display to cap off the night. With traffic backed up on the highway and waits of up to two hours to get in, it was clear just how many people came out to be part of it!

A big shoutout to the SIR staff and volunteers who put in the work to make an event of this size happen. It was an impressive day from start to finish, and we’re proud to support a long-standing part of Saskatchewan’s motorsports community.

Yesterday, Astro Towing was proud to be part of Rock 102’s Show & Shine Weekend!

Our team was on site bright and early at 5:00 a.m., making sure everything was ready for the day ahead. We were also on site throughout the event to help keep things moving safely and smoothly.

A lot goes on behind the scenes to make an event like this a success, and we’re always happy to lend a helping hand.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s Show & Shine another great one for Saskatoon!

It’s Rock 102 Show & Shine Weekend! 🚗

Astro Towing is proud to once again support one of Saskatoon’s biggest summer traditions. As hundreds of classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles take over downtown, we’re reminding everyone to plan ahead and keep safety top of mind.

Sunday, August 16:
• Downtown road closures are in effect from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Closures include 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue, between 20th Street and 23rd Street
• Expect increased traffic and police presence throughout the weekend
• Avoid leaving vehicles parked overnight within the closure area

The Downtown Car Show runs 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is free to attend.
