Took a long time but here’s everything in high build. Small house Reno got in the way, plus panels I thought were straight that just weren’t. Time for a block and see what I have, maybe I’ll paint them and add them to the collection in the living room. lol.

Well it’s been a while…..last week spent in Kimberley was a nice break, but back at it! Prep work takes forever, but today I shot epoxy, and a lot of it! Tommorow I’ll flip the hood and do the top side, then I get to start skim coating….hope to have the interior painted first.

Today on ‘this old truck’ we fill three old antenna holes and holes in the roof for signal lights that will now be incorporated into the front park lights. Also stripped the dash, pretty wavy, gonna have to think on this repair……

Two into one grill…..picked the best from both. Couple small imperfections to take care of and ready for epoxy.

I was told I need to update on this. Lol. Not a lot of big things but a few small things. Played with the front end and got it to line up a little better. Pretty sure I can get the hood to go back a little more and that should help. Wire wheeled the bed supports and running board supports and coated in POR15. Rear bed support was pretty mashed, so I cut it apart and made a new one, I’ll weld it all together once the paint dries. Blasted and restored the headlight buckets, and blasted and straightened the dash peice and restored the dash tray. Blasted and painted and installed a bunch of other stuff too. Got a second grill so tommorow the plan is to make one of the two, if I can. And fingers crossed this is all in epoxy before Christmas. 🤞

So when you get tired your air lines being more like water lines, you build an air dryer. Built this a couple days ago, finally tested it today blasting a bunch of parts for the 53. No water in my blast cabinet, and a lot of water in the dryer trap. Video in the comments.
