When the owner walks in unannounced...

Suddenly everyone remembers how to work at 200% speed.

Phones disappear. Tools come out. Even the guy on break somehow looks busy.

Nothing motivates a team faster than an unexpected boss sighting.

From scratched to smooth again.

It might look like a simple before and after, but there’s a lot of careful work between those two shots. Proper prep, repair, paint, and attention to detail make all the difference.

Swipe back and forth a few times. We know you want to.

Keeping things cool at Kazoku.

A proper coolant refill is one of those small steps that matters before a vehicle gets back on the road. Refill, check, and make sure everything is where it needs to be.

Because overheating should only happen when you see the repair bill from somewhere else.

“3 hours of sleep doesn’t affect me.”

Also me at work 20 minutes later:

Running on caffeine, muscle memory, and questionable decisions.

Don’t worry, the repairs are awake even if we’re not.

Co owner on paper. Masking master in the paint booth.

Ruel making sure everything is covered, taped, and ready before the paint starts flying. Owning the shop doesn’t mean staying behind a desk around here.

When it’s time to get the job done, Ruel is right there with the team.

Dominic vs. the bumper. Place your bets.

A little patience, the right tools, and a lot of attention to detail. Dominic is putting in the work to get this bumper back where it belongs.

Around here, even the bumpers get the full Kazoku treatment.

When the co owners tag team, you know it’s getting done.

Nat and Marnell putting in the work and proving that owning the shop doesn’t mean watching from the sidelines. Around here, the bosses still get their hands dirty.

Co owners by title. Teammates by default.

This Jeep hood came in rough, so we sent it straight to therapy with some sandpaper.

Prepping, sanding, checking, and sanding some more. The paint gets all the compliments later, but this is where the real glow up begins.

Smooth hood loading...

Ruel the Masking Master strikes again.

Tape, paper, plastic, and a whole lot of patience. Ruel makes sure everything that shouldn’t get painted stays exactly that way.

At this point, give this man a roll of masking tape and he can probably wrap the whole shop.
