🏁 And that’s a wrap on TC Racing’s season! 🏁

Yesterday had a little bit of everything! Cody kicked things off with a 1st-place finish in the heat race! 🏆 In the qualifier, he got to run with the faster cars and finished last, gaining some valuable experience along the way.

The feature started strong, but mechanical issues soon slowed things down. During the red flag, we thought we had the problem fixed, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Cody ended up pulling in three laps down and finished last.

It wasn’t the finish we hoped for, but it doesn’t take away from what we’ve learned this season. After the car sat parked for a year, getting back on track and getting comfortable with it again has been a learning curve for all of us. Every lap gives us something to build on! 💙

We got the #8 ready, loaded up and headed to the track — only for Mother Nature to have other ideas.

But today we get to try it again!

The pits are set up, the car is ready, and TC Racing is getting ready for another day at the track! 🏎️💨

There’s nothing quite like race day — the sounds, the smells, the nerves, the excitement, and spending the day with our racing family. 💙🖤

Tonight is a BIG night at Sutherland Automotive Speedway as the Pro Late Models take on the Bridge City 200! 🏆🔥 And of course, we’ll be hitting the track with the Action Plumbing Street Stock Camaro!

🏁 Race Day Recap! 🏁

What a great day at the track!

We had a little rain during hot laps, but after that the weather cleared up and it turned into a great night of racing.

Since we missed the last race, Cody had to start at the back of the field in both the Heat Race and the Feature.

🏁 Heat Race: Started at the back ➡️ Finished P8
🏁 Qualifier: Started 4th ➡️ Finished P2 🥈
🏁 Feature: Started at the back again ➡️ Finished P7

Watching Cody work his way through the field and battle hard all night was something to be proud of. Every lap is another opportunity to learn, improve, and gain experience, and he continues to prove that he belongs out there.
