Celebrating the Women of CARSTAR! 🏀✨At CARSTAR, people are at the heart of everything we do. Our industry and our organization are fueled by the talent and leadership of incredible women, and we couldn’t be prouder to champion them! To celebrate International Women’s Day, we hosted 40 ladies from our stores in Ontario at the Toronto Raptors Women’s Empowerment Game.

We were also honored to have Nakissa Koomalsingh, a Canadian trailblazer in women’s basketball join us at the CARSTAR activation. Our CARSTAR photo booth was a hit, with over 300 interactions from fans celebrating Women and the spirit of the game!

What a weekend! CARSTAR took over the Calgary Wranglers game on March 1st for a special Hot Wheels sponsorship, and it was a total blast.

Huge thanks to CARSTAR franchise partner and MSO, Mark Kharfan and the team for bringing 20+ volunteers to help us welcome kids into the arena with their very own cars. 3,500 Hot Wheels were gifted to young fans 🏎️🏁. Special thanks to CARSTAR Zone Director, Andrew Northrup for making this partnership happen! It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do. Community is at the heart of everything at CARSTAR!

It’s CARSTAR Game Day season across Canada! We were thrilled to host our franchise partner, John Trecroce, and the CARSTAR Sault Ste. Marie team at the Soo Greyhounds game on February 27th. With over 30 team members in the stands and three of our own presenting the CARSTAR 3 Stars of the Game, it was a night to remember. Thank you to everyone who brought the energy!

We’re excited to share that Sebastian Torres, CARSTAR multi store owner of CARSTAR Brantford, CARSTAR Brantford West, CARSTAR Tillsonburg and CARSTAR Simcoe was recently featured on The Collision Vision Podcast, driven by Autobody News and hosted by Cole Strandberg.

In this episode, Sebastian discusses how he transformed his operations by challenging legacy processes and embracing technology. By implementing Solera’s photo-capture estimating and mobile inspection tools, his team is now able to provide customers with an estimate before they even leave the shop. The impact has been significant, faster intake, more accurate and complete repair plans, stronger documentation, and a measurable lift in profitability.

Our Ontario Operations Team has been on the road delivering Essential Estimating in-person training tailored for newer estimators with zero to one year of experience. This full-day training focused on estimating fundamentals, administrative accuracy, and a live estimate review with all attendees.

We are proud to share that approximately 40 estimators have completed the training across four sessions, hosted in Ottawa, Lindsay, and two locations in the Hamilton area. A special thank you to Shawn Jamieson and the Myers Group, Sean Hartin and CARSTAR Lindsay, and Sebastian Torres and the TORCAM Group, for hosting these events.

Congratulations to our franchise partner, Rob Kember and the team at CARSTAR Dartmouth Crossing. The store has officially achieved Tesla Certification, becoming the 10th collision repair facility in Canada to earn this highly demanding designation.

This facility has obtained the highest level of Tesla Certification, authorizing it to perform both light and structural repairs on Tesla vehicles. CARSTAR Dartmouth Crossing is now listed on Tesla’s website as a Tesla Certified Collision Center. In addition to Tesla, CARSTAR Dartmouth Crossing is nearing full compliance with a wide range of other major OEM certification programs; including Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM, and FCA.
